OK, This is starting to really grate now.
I have an ATV3, connected via ethernet to an Airport Extreme. I have a 2011 Mac Mini connected via ethernet to the AEBS as well.
I have all my media stored on the mini for playback through the Apple TV. The mini is always on.
Everything is running the latest version.
I would say that about 50% of the time that I try to access the iTunes library on the ATV, it just keeps showing the spinner, and then says that it cannot connect after 5 minutes or so.
When I check the Mini, iTunes has frozen, and it has to be closed via force quit.
Then it will not reopen as it says the library file is locked. The only way I can get it up and running again is to restart the mini.
It's becoming a major pain in the a$$.
Any ideas!
