Try using a different computer and see if that does it. If you're near an Apple store, take it there and have someone help you out.

Both of those error codes are usually related to security software. See this http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694
If another computer is available for the restore, it may be easier to try that than trying to troubleshoot security software issues.

If you have Windows, check the hosts file, make sure it's not corrupt.

Open file with notepad, remove all of the gs.apple.com crap, then click save in notepad and X off. If Notepad won't let you save, thats a minor glitch, just move the hosts file to desktop and it will work.
