iPhone 5S to Be Available in Gold with 128 GB Option?

Perhaps neither. The iPhone 5S could be tri-core. The A6 in the iPhone 5 has a tri-core GPU, so it'd make some sense to have a tri/tri in the A7 for the iPhone 5S.

I hope this is true, but knowing Apple, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the 16 GB model stays and the 128 costs $499 on contract. Hopefully flash prices have dropped enough.
I don't think the 5C will be that much cheaper, if at all, than a 4S. It's more to make the cheap version more desirable (no longer just "last year's model") and get everyone on the same screen size and lightning connector faster.
Rephrasing, the iPhone 4S could get killed entirely, or it could live on until January as an 8GB iPhone 4S to drain parts stocks.

I would buy a gold one as long as it wasn't cheesy gold. Champagne would be awesome, that would match with the cars. A light champagne gold color would be great. Why don't they make an all chrome iPhone, mirror finish so almost every surface is reflective. That would be fun. I'll get as much storage as I can get. Too bad, you can't just solder in a 256GB SSD and a larger battery.

I have a 32GB iPhone 5 right now and have had no storage issues at all. I would love it for the base $199 model to become 32GB. I am probably going to skip the 5S, but if it's $199, with a $250 +$36 early upgrade fee from AT&T, being a total of $485, I think I will have to bite, considering I'll easily sell my iPhone 5 32GB for $400... It seems like a no brainer. $85 to have the newest iPhone in an acceptable size?

I was trying to match the leaked parts earlier in the thread. Looks pretty good, still not as nice as the black or white IMO.

I think it would look nice as long as its a lighter champagne color (like you see with cars) and not gold.
I think that's what Apple is going to go for. I can't see them going for a full gold color.
Pretty sad state Apple is in. I still remember when people stood in line for one color; black. And 128gig I can understand but the price on contract will be $400 if Apple does 32gig for $200. And if they keep the 16gig at $200 expect $500 on contract. That's crazy money to be throwing at any phone.

That would match the button part leaks. I've yet to see any part leak that was gold.
There's also a possibility Apple will pull the iPhone 4S entirely from developed economies and only distribute an 8GB iPhone 4S in developing countries.

If this is true (and I doubt it) Tim Cook should be tested for drugs. 16GB is most popular, 32GB a little ways behind, and 64GB is off the radar.

It is, but if some people are willing to throw crazy money at a phone then Apple would very much like to collect it.
