Hi Guys,

Has anyone else noticed that since upgrading to Mountain Lion that NSSound has stopped playing DRM files when on previous operating systems NSSound plays itunes protected files fine (as long as you have added your account to itunes)?

If you are developing using the iOS7 or 10.9 SDK's this is probably because you need to use authentication (with iTunes/Store) to now play them.. I've seen a few posts on the dev forums about this.

I'd advise having a look there. I'd love to help, but luckily (by the sounds of things) I don't work in digital media.

ok thanks, am using 10.6 sdk, not sure how to authenticate against itunes store for nssound playback. which dev forums are you referring to? got any links?
