What a lame bunch of fixes.

Welcome to 10.x.1 updates. Though you can be sure that there are a number of under-the-hood improvements that were made in addition to the ones listed above.

Interested to see what the Late-2013 fixes are...

After dealing with 10.9 and then going back to 10.8.5, Im not sure if I want to chance wasting more time and energy with 10.9.

:(

13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display (Late 2013)

I've been having an issue with my 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display (Late 2013). I'd be interested to know if anyone else is having a similar issue.

Issue: OS X 10.9 not prompting for password upon opening the lid after sleep. It only happens about 1 in 5 times that I open the lid.
Steps to replicate: Close lid. Let MacBook Pro sleep. Open lid. No password prompt.
Failed attempts to fix: Formatted HD using external Mavericks boot USB. Reinstalled fresh copy of 10.9. Restored from Time Machine. Toggling all possible "Require password X seconds after sleep" setting and toggling feature on and off completely.

I wonder if this fixes the 3 finger swipe not working, to go back/forward in a Finder window?

This hasn't worked since Mavericks.

But I want to know if it fixes the nVidia scroll instantiation hardware gl replication bug which crops up 0.000001% of the time !

I mean common apple, this interferes with my work at least 3 1/2 seconds every fortnight, and is not repeatable in any test scenario.

I can't believe they fixed some GmailIMAP issues which only affect 80% of the user base instead if fixing my bug which is far more important than any of you.

- insert other whiny one-off bug reports below .....

:)

Filevault boot slow

Anyone else have Filevault enabled, and are you seeing really slow boot times for the initial Password screen to show up?

EDIT: Ok, on both my machines, one w/o filevault, seems the update deselected the startup disk. It's still slow on the filevault machine, but not as bad.

That's it? I hate the slowdowns on my fully loaded 15" MacBook Pro (late 2013). Scrolling through PDF files and Excels suck! Never happens on my Windows 8.1 machines. They are super smooth and fast unlike my Mac.
