So I don't know much about gaming on my mac as I use consoles but I am interested in getting Guild Wars 2. Here is the specs required for the game.

OS-X 10.7.X or later
Processor Intel Core™ i5
Memory 4 GB Ram
Hard drive 25 GB available HDD space
Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 320M, ATI Radeon™ HD 6630M, Intel HD 3000 or better

I have a late 2008 Macbook unibody, 2.4gHZ intel core duo, 480GB SSD, 8GB Ram, OS Maveriks and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

So, I am unsure if my graphics card or processor can handle this game and can I expect any lag or other issues that would diminish my gaming experience. (I am ware that graphics cards can not be upgraded so it's either a go or no go)

Hey duke,

here is a guy who plays on an integrated HD 3000. I think your 9400m is more powerful than that integrated card though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTh4Lu3a-dM

Please be warned though, GW2 scales like crazy. you can be fighting some monsters in a random event, but if more people show up, the game will spawn more enemies that will dynamically use more extreme attacks. so you can end up having big fights if you come across a lot of players, and this taxes the computer when a lot is going on.

its an awesome game but it takes a lot to play at higher settings fluidly:D
