I don't have any fancy pictures yet. Haven't had the time yet. But here is a lil run down of my stuff. Ive only been into apple products really for the last year. Prior to that, I had been a windows user and my only apple products were an iPod classic and a shuffle. Getting an iPhone 4s at launch was the beginning of the end for me... and its been all Apple since.

I have,
iPod Classic - 80gb
iPod Shuffle - 2bg
iPod Nano - 2nd gen, Hers (not pictured)
iPhone 4s - 64gb (black)
iPhone 4s - 16gb (white) Bought at retail, to replace temporarily lost black one.
iPhone 4 - 8bg (white, hers) - (not pictured)
iPhone 5s - 64gb (silver/white) - (Not pictured)
Apple TV - 2 3rd gens, living room and bedroom
Mid-2012 MacBook Pro, 13"
Airport Time capsule - 2tb
Wireless keyboard
Magic Track Pad
Magic Mouse
Apple Battery Charger/batteries
Various cable adapters and cables

As well as two Apple G5 PPCs.. one is a fully functional late 2005 2.3. And the other was a 2003 2.5 with LCS. It had a bad logic board, so I took it apart and made a glorified plug strip out of it. The LCS from it is on the shelf, between the two white boxes. (it was one of the two I got with the original packaging shown in the pic above, all parts have been saved, and the case is unmodified. I *could* repair it and have it functional again too, but I was actually only looking for a dead G5 at the time, specifically for this little project). I also have one of the older white, wired keyboards and mice for the 2.3 G5 system, though I always use screen sharing from the MBP to use it.

I also had a 2003 1.8 G5, but I traded it to a buddy of mine for a tri-core AMD Windows 7 system. I use it mostly for helping my fiancé' and my parents with iTunes and Apple related software issues, since they all have Windows 7 systems.

Love the simplicity in the photo: 68K, PPC, Intel. I should put a 68K on my desk, I have two PPCs plus an Intel on it now...

I'm saving some money to get my dad a decent used iMac to replace his abused Acer laptop. I want to convert him from PC/Android so much! I think after a few weeks of training, he'll stop being so frustrated about computer problems that we all know Windows has. ;) :apple:

I had a pretty big collection at one point, around 35 computers in total, but I wound up getting rid of most of them due to a compromise I made with my wife. I agreed to get rid of either my gaming collection, which consisted of every major console ever released in the US plus a Commodore 64 and an Amiga 500, or my Apple computer collection as my basement was an utter disaster.

As much as I loved my Apple collection, they just didn't have the usefulness that my gaming hardware had. I am a pretty big gamer and I really enjoy going back and playing a lot of the older games, but there isn't a whole lot you can do on old Mac's, short of turning them into digital fishtanks, lol. So I wound up selling off my Apple collection, or at least 95% of it. I still own:

Powemac 9500
350Mhz Blue and White G3
Dual 1 Ghz G4 (mirrored)
2010 2.4 Ghz Mac Mini
2.66Ghz Quadcore Mac Pro
Mid 2012 13" Macbook Air
Mid 2009 15" Macbook Pro
Late 2013 15" Macbook Pro

2nd gen iPad 32 Gig
4th gen iPad 128 Gig
1st gen Apple TV
3 - 2nd gen jailbroken Apple TV's
2 - 1st gen 10 Gig iPods (still brand new sealed in plastic)
3rd gen iPod Touch 64 Gig
5th gen iPod classic 80 Gig
7th gen iPod classic 160 Gig
7th gen iPod Nano 16 Gig

1 - 23" Cinema HD Display
2 - 27" Cinema Displays (not thunderbolt)

I just ordered the new Mac Pro earlier this evening so add that to the list and that about does it. Oh yeah, I also own a 2TB Time Machine hard drive from Apple and Apple's wireless router and that about does it. Not very impressive given some of the other collections in this thread, but at least I didn't get rid of my entire collection. I was able to save a couple of my older computers.

All I have is:

Beige G3
Mac SE
Powerbook 190CS
Mid 2007 Macbook
ipod nano

instead of building this collection I'm trying as hard as I can to resist buying more! I don't really like new Apple products (macbook was a gift) and I can pretty much run all old software on what I have. Thats what I keep telling myself anyway....

How were you able to obtain such rare items?

I'm about 20 minutes from Apple Corporate and am always searching for these types of items. I never let something that rare go by without attempting to work something out with the seller(s).

This is such a bad thread to look at when you're trying to save money...

Well the way I look at it, when my friends say "Why'd you waste your money on that old Apple ii plus???!!! Why not buy a new phone or clothes?", is that it is an investment. It's sort of like temporarily converting money into something fun instead of having stacks of useless paper.

My Apple ii will stay static in value if only INCREASE over time. If I ever actually needed the money I can always sell it and get the full cost of what I paid or more. No loss anywhere. :D

Good look trying to do the same with a Galaxy S4...

Making/performing music and messing about with vintage apple tech are two of my favourite uses of time in life. I'm obliged to include my girlfriend in that list but my 512Ke makes for close competition! :p
