Hi

My wife has an old white iMac and runs OSX version 10.6.8 on it. She has iPhoto 8.1.2 running and this is fine for her to edit jpegs from her Nikon D90 which is what she usually does. However, recently she took a load of my RAW files from my Canon 5Dmk3 and of course they won't open. I had to batch convert them to jpeg, though obviously I could have use TIFF.

Anyway, I wondered if there was a patch to make iPhoto accept the CR2 files from the 5D3. I'm sort of guessing not. Also, I'm guessing the newest version of iPhoto would not run on 10.6.8. She can't really upgrade her OS on the iMac she has.

Would converting them to DNG work?

Thanks
