Apple 1
Lisa 1/2
TAM
128k/512k
Macintosh TV
SE/30

Those are pretty much what most people want to have in a collection. Some are so rare they are nearly impossible to find.

128K/512K and the SE/30 are all quite common luckily enough. The rest though, yeah, finding them can be an adventure.

Currently owned classics
  • 1984 Apple Lisa II
  • 1984 128k Macintosh
  • 1989 Macintosh Portable
  • 1997 20th Anniversary Macintosh

https://flic.kr/p/o1NjfJ

I'm actually quite proud of my little collection, it sits beautifully on my National Geographic collection like some pieces of art. Unfortunately, the Portable has a broken battery and the Lisa has a weird display issue, but the others work perfect. One day they'll all be perfect.

My daily driver is temporarily a 2009 Mac Mini (until the new MacBooks arrive) and I also own a 2nd gen iPod (2002) and a U2 5G iPod.

I've owned a few dozen Apple products over the last 5 years, but I sold most of them in less than a month after buying them because of my limited budget (even made some money with this). The list includes over 40 iPods and over 20 Macs. Not sure if I should post them all ;)

I got the 2012 London Pins while the Olympics were happening, had them ordered in. Finally found a good deal on the 2010 Vancouver pins. I hope they keep doing these!

Have you seen the ebay posting of "Great-Apple-Collection" located in Costa Rica?
Very impressive. Just about everything made and nicely staged as it looks to be in the person's man/woman cave. It's listed for $40,000 or best offer and appears 2 offers have so far been refused.
Can't imagine how you'd get the stuff out or even packed up to go, but well
worth a look with some excellent and numerous pictures.
I'll try posting the link but not sure if that's allowed here?
