I installed it and it looks good. The network connectivity issues I was having seem to be fixed. I want to try AppleTV streaming now..

- System Preferences now has the Search and Show All buttons in line with the window controls.
- Bug that did not allow opening a Reminders list in a new window was fixed.

No visible improvement to stuff that matters to me: transparency performance and popups, full-screen animation speed or font appearance on regular-DPI screens.

AppleTV streaming is working now. There is also a new back arrow in the Safari address bar to go back a level if you have multiple folders.

Text readability on retina-DPI screens could also use some adjustments!

I would have loved for Apple to introduce an iOS-style global scaling function for text with this release of OS X. It's too late now obviously, so we have to hope for it in 10.11

DP5 has new volume and brightness HUDs, and they look terrible!

EDIT: Added Dark Mode screenshot

Hopefully, Apple will update iTunes 12 as well. That thing is super buggy.

Sound feedback when adjusting the volume is weird and crappy too

It's not great, but I think just about anything is better than the previous sound effect which was extremely jarring and annoying.

I think those HUDs was supposed to be translucent to match up with iOS 7/8's Volume and brightness HUDs but something went wrong it looks like.

Will be a pain to have those HUDs for 2 weeks until the next DP..

What's updated? Isn't this how it looked in the public beta? Maybe not the DP?

----------

Just matching the iPhone HUD is all!

System Preferences now has a unified titlebar and toolbar, unlike DP4 and PB1.

I think the new volume HUD looks ugly because:
1: It has no transparency, and doesn't fit in with the rest of the Yosemite UI
2: The corners of the volume box are jagged (on my non-retina MacBook Air)
3: The black background for the bar looks out-of-place in the white window

The iPhone HUD looks much better, in my opinion.
