PayPal is currently offering 25 percent off digital iTunes cards in the United Kingdom, allowing users to purchase iTunes codes for the App Store, Mac App Store, iBooks Store, and iTunes Store at a discount.

Under the terms of the deal, an £15 iTunes card drops to £11.25, while a £25 card drops to £18.75. Larger denomination iTunes cards of £50 and £100 are available for £37.50 and £75. Cards are only redeemable in the UK iTunes Store.

The offer lasts until Thursday, August 28 at 11:59 BST, but as with all PayPal iTunes discounts, there are a limited number of codes available and discounts will only be available while supplies last.

Shame I can’t use it on a Mac. I was just lining up a Mac Pro. So that’s 25 £100 cards, so what?

Is the code delivered electronically or is a physical gift card sent out?

Even if you are in the UK just be careful and don't send a gift to anyone *outside* the UK. iTunes does not warn you and just lets you do it, and it's the beginning of a never ending nightmare.

Is this unusual?

Here in Germany you can get 20% off somewhere every other week. I'm always holding out for the rarer 33% deals.

Yeah, iTunes gift cards are really hard to sell on ebay or elsewhere! Nobody needs them! ;)

Where's your source of information? I'm active on MyDealz and I swear it's not that common!
And yes, we share the cravings for the 33% deals! They are rare as hell. (and often pretty limited)

Payment keeps failing for me. Fairly sure it was a bit of a broken process last time they did it.

Same issue here, wanted to pick £50 up so that I could get a few bits and bobs that I’d wishlisted; Monument Valley, ComicZeal, Codex Dark Angels, Type:Rider and Knock, but apparently the payment is unable to be processed and I should try using a different one if the vendor will accept it.

Anyone found a way around the 'your payment could not be sent' error?

Only have my iPhone and iPad with me, tried in Safari and Chrome, but still no luck :(

It's odd for the UK as this is the first time ever I seen sales of gift cards for less for what they are worth - it just doesn't happen like this in the UK!

I just grabbed a £100 voucher no problem.

I thought I'd get another one, but it wouldn't let me pay. I guess they've got blocks on individuals purchasing too many.
