MacBook Pro 2.5Ghz, 16GB, 750M

Mac Pro 6 core, 16GB, D300 + MacBook Air for portable computer

i would like a computer to connect to thunderbolt display but i am not sure which is best

I think the setup your already in the signature is pretty good already. I'd say stick with those. Should be current for the next year or so at least!
