Sorry about that. I misunderstood what u meant I didn't get anything like that but heard that's been happening with the white border ones. Also wanted to clarify that this protector won't work with the platinum series case

Okay so iLoome did it's job just a few minutes ago. G/f was doing laundry in the basement and was walking up the stairs. She dropped her phone from the top of the stairs, slipped it through the stairs and it dropped pretty much uninterupted all the way to the concrete floor 10 feet below...

The phone was laying face down on the floor. The screen protector cracked but the screen on the 6 was saved. My g/f is notorious for dropping her damn phones and it drives me up a damn wall. But the protector did it's job and here is the proof of that. I will be buying another one, tomorrow.

Let me fair. Every glass protector will do the job. I dropped my 5 during the summer with a .03mm case on it and a Bodyguardz Pure. Case corner broke off. Glass cracked. Phone……..perfect.

I am liking the iCarez glass for the iP6+

Fits nice, feels good. Cheap Price.

I got my black iloome Plus... and installed it almost a week ago. I love the feel, and I can't tell by looking that the edges are black or that there is a glass on the phone unless I stare at the cutout on the bottom. I really like it a lot.

During installation, I had to lift it up several times to get rid of lint underneath, so now I've got one spot on the edge that doesn't adhere. I'm hoping that isn't the start of air/dust getting underneath and causing the whole thing to lift off. It's my fault, I even installed it in a steamy bathroom and still the lint and dust here in the desert is brutal for screen installs.

I have a cheap wallet case and yes it's already showing dust between the case and the glass, but it can be brushed off I'm sure, it's not bad enough to bother me so far. I was going to take a photo but it makes it look worse than it is.. dang these phones take good macro photos! LOL

I got my iloome screen protector for my 6 plus today and when I put it on one of the bottom corners did not adhere and it looked so bad I pulled it off. It's going back! Never mind the dust in the pics.

I have the same defect,

Oh dear, we'll get that taken care of. Sorry for any inconvenience!

We've been working on something prettier in terms of tempered glass for iPhone 6 (and with less defects!) so I just want to check how much demand there is for the following:

That's the new sample we made yesterday and we're considering it to be our 2nd generation tempered glass for iPhone 6. What do you guys think? Obviously, it's not going to be immediately available, but we're hoping to get it out before 2014 is over if you guys like it.

looks nice and I'd consider it but one of my biggest sticky point is making sure that it's compliant with a number of additional cases. Not just the ones you've confirmed to be working. I'm particularly interested in seeing if something like that works with Urban Armor and Pelican.

Hi,
Just ordered one for the 6 plus, a few days ago and should be here Monday. I'll try it and hopefully I won't have a any problems. If so, I'll send your support a email and maybe wait until the new one comes out under warranty. The new one looks really nice, please keep us informed?
Thanks, Jerry

Do the edges actually curve on the new one and not have that sharp feeling like the ones we have atm?

Question -

1) Do you see black lines on the edges after the colored borders? Or is this a defect?

2) Do we get the second generation as replacements? Or will there be a trade in program?

I really like it, but the black lines are bothering me a little. I have the white version of the glass protector.

100% if it works well with many cases (currently using a spigen neo)

This looks just like the Nillkin and Benks glass screen protectors I bought from ebay. Doesn't looks like the edge are curved and not going to work with many cases.

Just put my zagg glass back on had the iloome glass screen protector on but touch response wasn't as good with it on and clarity wasn't as great either. I do like the new version of the iloome coming out hopefully it will work with cases better which was another reason y I took mine off jus couldn't use it with a lot of cases. I will say tho that the glass will work with the spigen neo hybrid with metallized buttons case.

I agree. Like I mentioned in the other thread, it needs to actually curve at the edges (not just have rounded edges). I guess so far, Imos is the only company that has achieved this, but as others have pointed out, it's about $60 for their tempered glass. Still patiently waiting to see what Moshi comes out with.

The illoome screen is getting a somewhat of a bad rap here. I received mine a couple days ago for my 6 plus. Its much nicer than the flat glass one I bought through Verizon that overhung the curved edges because it was cut too big. It is already scratched.

The iLoome went on easy and looks just great. Sure you dont see the curved glass, but this is arguably more esthetic It's kinda cool having a unique looking phone. It's no thicker than the Verizon glass I had on before it. I am interchanging cases and so far it fits everything. (Apple leather, Vaja, IN7, iBlason) I don't see how it couldn't fit all cases to be honest. And its great to have all of the glass protected I don't notice any dust collection or anything of the sort.

I read all the criticism here and tried canceling it on Amazon, but that was not given as an option. Once it came, I honestly was going to just send it back. Then I noticed the scratches on my Verizon glass and thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I think people on MR are waaay too anal. Some of the compulsiveness and eagerness to return things is very off-putting. 1 dead pixel. A hair line scratch noticed after owning a phone for over a month....I've now seen it all here. It makes everything more expensive for all of us.

Just went from the Spigen Air Cushion to the UAG case....sadly the UAG case does not work with the iLoome screen protector. May just have to settle for one of the non edge to edge glass protectors.

Post a picture of the iPhone! seeing it do its job is one thing but seeing the phone "unscathed" is important!
