I got the iloome in the mail today for my 6 Plus. I am sad to report that the leather case will NOT work with it. It starts peeling the corner off on the bottom right side for me and if I grip the phone it starts peeling from other directions too.

Also, it makes the edges of the phone sharp and feel terrible. I feel this wouldn't be a problem if the case worked properly so that makes its incompatibility with the case that much more disappointing.

The edges still stop short of the aluminum by about 2mm so it has the same "incomplete" look as most screen protectors but at least it goes a bit further so that you don't have the seam right in (or next to) the visible portion of the screen.

Not sure if I get more shatter protection from the screen protector or the case. Any opinions on this?

I would keep just the case on but I already got a small scratch on my glass (no idea how it got there) and I would hate to accumulate more as time goes on.

Despite so many people claiming iPhones are scratch-proof, they really are not. I have had hairline scratches in almost every iPhone I ever owned (for more than a few months) even though they are usually not visible unless you are looking for them or under certain lighting conditions.

Wish someone would make a protector that actually has curved glass that reaches all the way to the aluminum sides of the phone.

I am going to keep this one for now since I paid for it but I will be actively searching for another solution.

Just put it on my iPhone 6 plus today, best looking one yet. Slit on top rather that huge cut out. Black edge covers it all. I had phone in a Spigen Aluminized case when I installed it. Just got my Piel Frama I Magnum, slid in perfectly. I'm very happy with this one. Note;I have sausage fingers and no problems with touch id. I'm going to get one for my wife's 4.7"it goes on like magic too.

I feel the same here. There seems to still be a gap at the edges? I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.

Those surface scratches are on the oleophobic coating. But you're right they are there. More for resale value then anything.

Hi,
Your saying the iLoome glass screen protector works with Piel Frama I Magnum? My iLoome should be here withing the next few days and was worried it wouldn't work.

Jerry

Hi

Do you all see two black lines on the edges of the screen with this protector? It's right next to the colored border? Not sure if that is how it's supposed to be or if I have a defective one?

Perfect fit.

I don't know how it could fit more perfect, this is at most a skeeters peter 0.50mm from extreme edge. It's currently in a Piel Frama, but works fine in an aluminized Sprigen, or Apples leather case. Where Gregintosh is getting 2mm is beyond me? The 1/8 black you see is the protector glass covering the curved edge. This is for a 6 plus by the way

Received my iLoome for the 6+ today, installed pretty quickly/easily (I've been applying my own since the 3G days so no issues with installation). BUT, when I removed the outer protector, shock/horror I found a 'S'-shaped scratch on the protector itself. Which obviously happened somewhere during production.

I could feel it slightly when I run my fingernail over the screen so it's definitely on the front and not the back.

Meh. QC issue? Not sure whether to return it because I'll have to fork out shipping + I'll be left without a protector (my previous one is obviously bust because I took it out to apply this one). I could try and live with it but it's annoying because it runs in a curved 'S' from left to right 1/3 of the way from the top.

mine arrived. not entirely sure i like it. It does it's job fine, but the edges collect dust like crazy. And this doesn't work with most of the cases i have besides the ultrathin ones with no lay on the table, and the spigen hybrid.

There is 30 days return on this right? might give it a few more days to see.

That looks really nice...thanks for the PIC! Mine is also a 6 plus.

Got this in today and looks really promising. Edges do curve around the glass and has a great fit. Only issue I see is if you go naked. The edges are rough to the touch. I'll install tomorrow and post some pics. I was waiting on the Mime version but looks like that will be going back.

Install was easy. The adhesive was only on the clear part and not on the black part of the glass. Won't work with Ringke fusion case or anything that comes up too far on the glass. Started to come up when I tried to put the case back on. Using an Itskins NitroForged case and it works fine.

What do you guys think of this? Saw this pop up at my local flea market site and contemplating buying it. Come in white and black too. The brand is Benks. Anyone heard of it before?

Does not compliment with the iPHONE silver

That's an u g l y tempered glass. The outline between the clear glass and painted glass are very visible. A good glass is that when the display is off, you can only see a pitch black screen complimenting the black color border.

Thanks for posting. I will definitely cross out aegis on my list.

I like my iLoome screen protector.

I read all the criticism here and tried canceling it on Amazon, but that was not given as an option. Once it came, I honestly was going to just send it back. Then I noticed the scratches on my Verizon glass and thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did.

I applied mine a couple days ago for my 6 plus. Its much nicer than the flat glass one I bought through Verizon that overhung the curved edges because it was cut too big. It is already scratched.

The iLoome went on easy and looks just great. Sure you dont see the curved glass, but this is arguably more esthetic. Its a little more masculine looking. It's no thicker than the Verizon glass I had on before it. I am interchanging cases and so far it fits everything. (Apple leather, Vaja, IN7, iBlason) I don't see how it couldn't fit all cases to be honest. And its great to have all of the glass protected I don't notice any dust collection or anything of the sort.

That looks really thick. How does it feel?

@Alsing
Yes, I am currently using the Benks OKR+ for my iphone 6. I bought it through ebay and its working quite acceptable as of now with a case around it. I have posted some pictures and review on another thread:

anybody have a tempered glass protector that is matte/anti-glare?

I had a matte or anti-glare tempered glass one on my iPhone 5s. I like the touch under the fingers. Slide well even with sweaty fingers. However, the texture grain is HUGE compared with Powersupport plastic protectors. The rainbow effect was too bad for me.

So I received my iLoome protector 1 week ago. Installation was a breeze, but after the 1st day, dust and lint started to stick onto the undersides of the silicone. About 3 days after that, I noticed that the bottom corner beside the home button has cracked. What the hell?! I never dropped it, and the phone fits into a case that fits the screen protector. Here are pictures of it:

Just last night, I was inspecting the screen protector again, and I noticed that the top right corner has also cracked. I'll post up pictures of that soon. I'll be contacting iLoome to see if there is anything they can do. For $40 CAD, I won't be buying anything iLoome again.

I also put on a iLoome yesterday for the 6 plus. First time it wouldn't adhere on the sides. I lifted it very carefully and as of now looks good. I'll check for dust accumulation within the next few days.
