I got the iloome in the mail today for my 6 Plus. I am sad to report that the leather case will NOT work with it. It starts peeling the corner off on the bottom right side for me and if I grip the phone it starts peeling from other directions too.
Also, it makes the edges of the phone sharp and feel terrible. I feel this wouldn't be a problem if the case worked properly so that makes its incompatibility with the case that much more disappointing.
The edges still stop short of the aluminum by about 2mm so it has the same "incomplete" look as most screen protectors but at least it goes a bit further so that you don't have the seam right in (or next to) the visible portion of the screen.
Not sure if I get more shatter protection from the screen protector or the case. Any opinions on this?
I would keep just the case on but I already got a small scratch on my glass (no idea how it got there) and I would hate to accumulate more as time goes on.
Despite so many people claiming iPhones are scratch-proof, they really are not. I have had hairline scratches in almost every iPhone I ever owned (for more than a few months) even though they are usually not visible unless you are looking for them or under certain lighting conditions.
Wish someone would make a protector that actually has curved glass that reaches all the way to the aluminum sides of the phone.
I am going to keep this one for now since I paid for it but I will be actively searching for another solution.
