Well, something new. Notification center widgets are disappearing randomly. A restart is required to fix it. They don't even appear on on the Extensions settings under Settings.

Share sheet in apps is gone too.

Edit. It seems it is a know issue... this fixed both things. Hope it doesn't happen again.

mac app store is not showing the update. tried to refresh and got this error message "Can't connect to the Apple Software Update server."

So I guess they have an Ultra high speed Fibre Optic connection.
And they worry about going down to 200odd Mbps.

I'm pretty sure they were talking about wifi transfer over a local network, not their actual internet connection speed.

One thing I hate about Yosemite is that they removed Software update from the Menu bar.

Now, it always brings you right into (spammy) App store which I DON'T want!

It brought you to the updates section of the app store previously, what's the difference?

Just did the update and noticed my MBP lost a bunch of storage after I ran iTunes. Turns out the update came with a bunch of U2 B-sides that auto-downloaded.

Installed it at about 3PM and so far I have lost my WIFI connection 3 times on my 2012 Retina Macbook Pro. When I lose connection if I try selecting to the Wifi Network it tells me it can't connect.

The only way to reconnect is turn Wifi off then turn it back on again.

Seems the squabble between Apple Finder and Dropbox App(garcon) is put to the rest after 10.10.1 update. Thank God! Hopefully periodic RTC/SleepAlarm wakes are gone too.

I was setting up 3 new mac-minis 2012 last week, not a single WiFi problem on any.

.....That doesn't negate the fact that me and multiple others are having WiFi problems since upgrading to Yosemite.

Edit: I did a clean install of Yosemite when it came out...not an upgrade

Installed on my upgradable base 2012 Mac Mini, no problems.

Same here. No real problem before or after.

It could be related to WiFi access point as well. I am using NetGear WNDR 3700 v.1/v.2(2 streams) and AC1450 converted to AC1650 though. Minis would lock on to "fake" AC1650 5GHz N channel as it supports 450 Mbps (3 streams) on other floor, and boy, I had transferred many hundreds of GB over WiFi as I was migrating data.

Very slow update download

Does anybody else have very slow download speed trying to install this update? I have a pretty fast cable connection but the last few os x updates were terribly slow to download.
Yosemite took many hours and this 300 MB update wanted 2 hours. iOS updates are very slow to download too. I got around this by ssh tunnelling to my work Mac. Then all the updates downloaded in under a minute. I've read that Apple recently started using its own CDNs and this might be causing it but I'm not sure if that's it.

I don't buy that. On Mavericks it was working perfectly everywhere. The problem only started when I upgraded to Yosemite and my routers at home, work, and school are still the same as they were when I have mavericks. I have this problem at home (netgear WNDR4500), school, and at work. Seems to be worse at school.

I'm really liking the continuity features of Yosemite but I may have to downgrade back to Mavericks just to make my MBA reliable again.

I agree, but I was referring to 2012 minis - it has a bit different hardware arrangement, not the same as MBA for sure.

Any idea if it fixes an issue with high CPU utilization? I had a few root processes in activity monitor that kept CPU usage high and the fans running full blast. With that, I was forced back to Mavericks.

Still no luck with wifi

This update sped up my rmbp and smoothed out the animations but it still constantly drops connection on my schools enterprise network. Looks like im still stuck using thunderbolt ethernet.
