What would be the best way to get an iPhone 6 Plus now that in store pick up isn't working? It seems nearly impossible to pick up an iPhone 6+ in Canada without waiting 3 weeks for it to ship from Apple.

thats simply not true. You can reserve a phone easily these days. They pretty much always have a 16GB OR 64GB phone in stock. I could've reserved one just a few days ago.

Problem is the online reservation has been down for 3 days and when it's working they never have 128GB.

Not in Vancouver they don't. It's hard to find a 16GB 6+ available to reserve let alone walk in to an Apple store and find one.

I'm in Vancouver and they had them all last week. Only 16GB though. There's like 4 stores.

But are those regular phones or UNLOCKED as well? Because contract phones have been available as walk-in forever.

I wonder if there going to be the ones with the cheap RAM and they're clearing them out.

"We got a whole butt-load in guys. Come and pick them up."

I assume unlocked - when looking at the actual online reservation system, I never seen the option to reserve a carrier-based phone (unless I overlooked it).

We have adequate supplies for carrier-locked phones here, but definitely not the unlocked ones. It's been painful.

Ah ok. In Japan you can reserve both "SIM FREE" iPhones and "contract" iPhones. I guess in N.A. It's only unlocked phones.

So there is so much stock now that we can just walk in? Great.

wtf Apple

you take the store down for a week making people think there's stock but then i call and no one has any 128GB for pickup.

still no 128GB unlocked (Vancouver)

I thought tuh tuh Timmy was supposed to be Mr. Supply Chain.

Guarantee you Apple pulled all 128GB because of the crap RAM.
