My second ever attempt at video editing

Believe it or not, even though a pro photographer for the last 26+ years, I was never into filming, never had a video camera, still don't own a smartphone.

This is my second attempt at video editing; contains movie clips as well as stills integrated into a 1min 26secs video:

Comments welcome……here on this thread/forum please, not under the video.

I just made my first short (with the help of my friends (and zero budget)) for the myrodereel contest. I've been doing personal projects and the occasional interview/corporate video for a little while, but this was my first time doing any sort of narrative. Boy, what an eye opener. As you'll see in the video, I really have no idea how to move the camera or frame for narrative work. It sure was a fun and educational experience though. Hopefully we can make some significant improvements on our next short film.

Here's the contest page with the film and the behind the scenes video.

Thanks for checking it out! I'd love to hear some feedback if you've got any - even if it's scathing as we genuinely want to get better at this.

Here's a short film, me and my friends shot last October for a 60hour film challenge competition. Shot with a 5D mkIII with a vintage 28mm M42 lens, edited in premiere and color graded in Resolve 11.

Here's my latest short horror film.

You can watch all my original horror shorts at http://www.hashtagcreepy.com/?page_id=342

If you have a horror short film and you'd like me to post it up and share it PM me with a link to it! My site; hashtagcreepy.com is a website that curates horror short films and scary videos in general from the internet.

I don't make any money doing it, it's just a "for fun" project of mine.

This super slow motion based video explorers the limits that life puts in our way. Why as children do we dream of being an astronauts and going to moon, only to end up in an office job, grounded by a desk. Though abstract pictures and sound effects this one minute film, shows that anything is possible in the short amount of time.

Hey everyone,

So I have been working long and hard all summer to perfect my drone for capturing aerial video and here is some of the shots I have captured over the summer.
