I agree with the story, but there is a lot of work to be done if Apple really wants to gain even a couple percentage points. I've said it before, but if OSX had a windows emulator that ran like classic, they could gain a bunch of marketshare as fast as they could crank out new iMacs.

RIGHT ON!!! What a great and inspirational article. At a time when I anxiously await a new Tower to buy, since the iMac is too close to the Pros; I am now less angry and more proud to still be using my 6500. If I have to wait a few more months for the quality I want, so be it! I'm with you Steve!

the only thing that made me even prouder to be a mac user was that video of
microsoft's Ceo Monkey Man Balmer dancing around at some pc convention. shiver.
