i would guess that it is an old abandoned reseller, since the Apple Stores themselves are rather new

I agree. Apple Retail stores started popping up after they went to the solid white logo.

It looks more like abandoned office space than a store. Is the location known?

I've seen this on another site like a year ago.

There's a site with dozens of pictures from inside the store which was in Kuwait and oddly all the old computers, games, entire store was still intact with vintage 1990 era Apple computers on the shelves. I believe its a picture of what the store looked like after the Mar 91 Kuwait liberation subsequent the Aug 90 Iraqi invasion.

I'm Persian, and Farsi and Arabic use the same alphabet...

No, they don't. There are several characters that is present in Farsi
but not in Arabic. The pronunciation is a little bit different as well.

The sign basically says "Abble Kombuter"
heh.. they don't have any p sound in Arabic..

That is correct. I would like to note though that althought there is no
equivilant to the latin "P" in Arabic, any arabic speaking person can easily
pronounce it.

Wow, that place looks pretty cool as I sort of like wandering through abandon buildings. Oh, and plus I wouldn't mind having a few of those posters and banners :)

I wonder if a person could somehow get permission to enter and take something?

edit: after further reading of the forum I'll take the director chair please :)

Yeah, yeah, but they're close enough :p

In that photo at least, all the characters are present in both alphabets...

But the majority of the folks over here don't know :p and it is always good
to inform them with the correct facts.

Anyway, a friend of mine works in kuwait. May be I can ask her to ask
about those stuff in that abandoned store :D
