1. Is it possible to embed a functional iCal Calendar in iWeb?
2. If not, I see how to add a link on an iWeb page to a published iCal calendar. Instead of just a text link, I would like to use a calendar type icon as the link. All iCal icons that I can find have a white background which doesn't look good at all in my black background webpage. Can someone point me to a black background iCal icon or something similar.

Thanks in advance for anyone's help. :D

Give this a shot: Pulled it from icals bundle.

EDIT: In my preview of it, it has some strange thing in the corner, but when you download it, it seems fine.

Thanks. I am at work (PC). I will try it while at home later tonight.
On this PC the black item in the corner does show. odd.

Good news you Can Embed

If you are using iweb and ical with a mobile me account you can create a page with a fully functional ical calendar embedded in an iweb page. Here are the steps.

1.Open iCal
2.Select the calendar you want to publish
3.Go to Calendar
4.Publish...
5.Give it a title
6.Select MobileMe (set by default)
7. There are a lot of check boxes to check or uncheck depending on what you want
8. Hit Publish
9. Hit visit and copy the url of the calendar (or simply copy the “Be viewed at”)
10. Go to iWeb, and create a new page
11. Add HTML Snippet and add the following code

<iframe src="http://ical.me.com/username/TitleOfTheCalendar" width="750" frameborder="1" height="1100"></iframe>

12. Change the
http://ical.me.com/username/TitleOfTheCalendar
to your calendar.
13. Change the width and height settings to fit your page.
14. If there’s not enough room, thus the calendar doesn’t fully display on the page, increase the content width of the page by going to Inspector, PageTab, Layout, Content Width.

That should give a very slick calendar with all of the ical functionality.
