Importing into Skype??

I've been giving Skype a whirl, and the new Mac client looks great (and works great with MacBooks). However, dialing in Skype requires numbers to be formatted with +1; this kind of makes importing contacts from Address Book or Entourage difficult if they have all been formatted with just the are code.

Does anyone have a script that can import and reformat phone numbers on the fly for use in Skype? Or other suggestions on how to get my 400+ contacts into my Skype contact list?
