I have a Ruby G3 .. 450 Mgh with 256 mb of memory. I'd like to boost it to 512 or maybe 1g ... any recommendations?
my bondi 333mhz only read 256 of my 512mb ram chip, even though it fit in the slot... make sure your ruby is capable before you spend the money on two 512's... migh have to settle for 512mb with two 256's. OS X also lost its stability and drifted off into lala land sometimes due to the unrecognized ram in there.
Yup, it's a tray loader alright... but it's on OS X 10.2.8 in the garage playing my iTunes library very nicely. Now they make iPods with more than 6 gigs. The Bondi (233 MHz - 333 MHz) is a tray loading CD machine and takes PC66 SODIMMs, the 450 MHz is a slot loading CD machine and takes PC100 DIMMs. Completely different architecture.
