they're the AKG k701, great set of headphones (although I'm a Grado fan myself..:D )

Grados are freaking awesome. Ugly as sin, but the best damn headphones I've ever owned. They're the only ones I've ever tried that do justice to the dynamic range of my full-size digital piano.

Wow, so thats how they look like. I was dead in the middle between AKG K-701s and Ultrasone Proline 750. I got the Ultrasone.

What kind of amp do you use or is it a DIY amp?

you know, I actually LOVE the look of the prestige series (black grados) I'm not sure why. I had the option to woody them, but decided to keep the original look. I had a pair of the Grado RS-2's, and even preferred the look of my SR-225s

Ramblin' with the ramblers.
Hey soul12, what do you think of those speakers? I've been thinking about getting some since they're thin and look good sized. Is the sound pretty good and such?

I like the desktop, btw. Reminds me of the Casino Royale opening for some reason.

I see an N-Gage user!

Haha yeah, it's not really a bad phone. It had some features that many phones didn't have at the time of it's release, video capabilities, MP3 playing, Memory Card expansion, the only thing it doesn't have is a camera. Also this is the second model, so you don't have to hold it to your ear oddly like the first model.

It's a pretty nice phone and the OS is pretty nice. It is showing it's age a bit and some buttons aren't as responsive, but it's lasted this long, so I don't think I'll upgrade until it finally dies. :p :D

I actually forgot all about the N-Gage until I saw your post. Is it still in production?

Off Topic: No the last time it was made was sometime in 2004. Nokia is releasing a series of N-Gage related phones that can play online games. But they are not related to the old series, and can not play the old games. They're just using the name.

Also I forgot to note my iMac's specs:

iMac 20" (Early 2006 - Rev A) 2.0GHz Intel CoreDuo
2GB RAM, ATI x1600 with 256mb VRAM, 250GB HD, DVD-RW, Wireless

it does the job as a portable speaker. it can get really loud but sometimes the sound "breaks." i like the portability aspect of it. it's supposed to be my speaker for the mp3 player but since the macbook built-in speakers were too weak for me, this setup will do for now.

my desktop is one of those huge ferris wheels... didn't notice it look like a roulette :)

I love the BlackBooks so much! Hopefully i'm going to the Apple Store in a couple of weeks so I can see it again. How does it run that monitor? Looks like its doing just fine :)

Its a Dell 20.1" and the BlackBook seems to power it just fine. I used to run my powerbook in clamshell mode hooked up to the Dell, but when I tried it wth this MB, it ran way hotter and the fans were kicked on constantly. So now I just run it off to the side and open the lid.

So far, I love it.
