So this ibook (12 inch) was purchased in 3/06 and a month ago it started having a problem. Whenever the screen was moved forward or back the backlight in the screen would go off. The only way to get it to come back on was to restart the computer. Now that doesn't even work anymore. You can see the image on the screen, just no backlight. Gameboy anyone? This machine is no longer under warrenty. Does anyone know how much this could cost to fix? Are there any to-do sites out there on the web for the do-it-yourselfer?
