I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FS920. Here's the specs:
Sony Vaio VGN-FS920

I also have a 12" iBook, 500 MHz, 30 GB HD, 128 MB ram. I would like to trade for a nicer Mac.

Does anyone know what I should be able to get for these combined?

Assuming you're in the USA, for the iBook, probably $150-250 on eBay, probably closer to the $150 number here on MR. A bit higher if it has an Airport card. I have no idea about the VAIO, sorry. I checked eBay closed listings out of curiosity, and there seems to be great variability, with people getting between $450 and $1000USD for the VAIO. I can't imagine anyone in their right mind paying $1000 for it, but then, we're talking about eBay. Notably, about 75% of the auctions on eBay seemed to have not resulted in a sale, which is something to consider (whereas the iBook auctions were almost unanimously successful).

I'd say $200 or at the most $300 for the ibook on ebay. People there can pay crazy prices. I'm not sure how much you can get for the Vaio, its $1000 new. So i'd guess around $500... those things depreciate faster than macs :p
