iBook G4... BIG PROBLEM

Hi guys

I think my iBook is dieing, when i turn it on i get a small flashing world icon then comes a flashing finder and ? file icon,

was doing this for a while and then booting up like normal but now it dosent make it to the apple icon

hope you guys can help, this is a bad time for a broken Mac for me :(

First, boot from your install disc and run disk utility (quit out of the installer and choose it from the pull down menu). Rune repair and see what it says; if it says your drive is ok and you're still having the problem, see if you can get it booted and run disk utility (repair permissions this time). If that still doesn't help, there are other options, but trying an archive/install is probably your best bet...
