I recently purchased the CSE-MAP-302F-01 firewire enclosure through an ebay auction. I also have 2 x 160 GB Maxtor hard drives to use within the enclosure. Great, right?
No such luck. The drives will only appear singly. If I hook them up in a master/slave configuration as instructed to do, neither drive will appear on the desktop and nothing in the profiler.
If I configure them as two masters, I will get one unintialized drive in disk utility that appears as two drives with identical ids in profiler. Cable select on both makes them both disappear.
The package came with OS9 drivers, and I've read online about past problems with OS 10.1 which were fixed. I am running 10.2
Any ideas?
