Hi all

I need a new 2.5" Hard drive for my Mac Mini G4 1.25Ghz, but I am getting a little confused about what HD i need, ATA, SATA.

Can anyone here point me in the right direction please.

G4 Mac mini

Hey:

My G4 Mac mini's original 80GB hdd died about a year ago so I picked up a 2.5" IDE drive (5,200RPM made a lot of difference than the stock 4,200RPM drive).

Basically you're looking out for an IDE drive (some call it an ATA drive). Your Mac mini is too old to have SATA so keep away! Wouldn't want you ordering something only to find its the wrong connector
