on a similar thought - do you think the software dev kit will allow any other means for a software unlock?

No chance, they signed a contract with AT&T to stick with them, no way they would allow unlocks...

well, they didn't really "allow" the pre-week 46 iPhones to be unlocked, but they are...

i'm confident that there will be another software unlock solution released, but it's just a matter of when. and now it's looking like being quite a bit longer than everyone was expecting before Macworld...

i really hope you are wrong Phil A., nothing personal... but i also have a 1.1.2 OTB...
and if you don't have new baseband, then there might not be much hope for me. but time will tell!

at least the news is getting better as the days go on!

My baseband version after upgrade to 1.1.3 is 04.03.13_G
