iTunes Live: London Sessions Coming Feb 22 - Mar 2

I was hoping for some press event how Apple would release info on how the UK ill get rentals earlier than expected.

Exactly what I was thinking and the reason I went to post in this thread! Frankly I see it as about time some big company like Apple shake up the music industry. They have operated far to long in a questionable manner. I hope the good ship Apple sinks all their boats.

Wait ... what am I missing?

Do they not sell songs under the "Live Session" or "iTunes Live" monikers in the UK?

Apple has been doing this for a while.

Not sure about elsewhere but iTunes UK have been doing this for a while.
 
Apple is becoming a record company. And that's that. All those concerts -- C'mon, the bouncer is opening the back door (soon on itunes😉

If you haven't heard of KT Tunstall then I'd like to know under which stone you have been hiding for the last three years 🙄

I had never heard of Leo Abrahams before. Turns out to be one of the best guitar players I have ever heard. Check out his two albums on iTunes.

Foy Vance: Never heard of him before. But let's just say that the first song of his performance today showed more vocal talent than 24 X Factor finalists combined. He looks harmless enough, but he's got one incredible voice.

And in a few weeks, check out the iTunes Store for a live duet of KT Tunstall and Billy Bragg. Two guitars, two voices, a new song composed on the M25, absolutely excellent.

Probably one of those things where some countries have some weird laws that allow you to sue if you win tickets and no transport/hotel cost, and by excluding residents from other countries Apple prevents that kind of trouble.

In reality, if you win tickets and turn up at the door at the right time, nobody will check where you live (but they might not let you in if you are twelve).
