I can't watch the video at work because these machines don't have quicktime installed >_< but the phone is probably running 1.1.3 and they are just using a webapp with a shortcut on the home screen but that is just a guess without seeing the video first

oh I'm sure abiline christian university was one of the first people to get the SDK ...

Mr Know-it-all,

Watch the video .... either it is a mockup, or they are developing apps. And really, how would you know who has and has not been an early participant in Development ??!!??

And/or ...

Apple is developing apps for Higher Education....

NO SDK but the apps are real...just web-based

I work for ACU and I am a member of the programming research iPhone group. The apps you see in the film were first just dreamed up by the producer, but after watching it, we were able to actually create all of them except the "dock your iphone and do ichat." Everything else is legit, however we do NOT have access to the SDK yet :(

You can see some of them at http://acu.mobi It's best viewed in safari, or better yet on an iPhone. While some of the apps are behind a login, a few are out for the public to see. For a little more insight, you can look at http://www.acu.edu/connected to see why we are doing this, etc.
