I need a computer I can take to class just for word processing and playing some movies/music because I'm tired of my MBP getting trashed around in class. I can get the following iBook for $279 CAD including shipping, is this a good deal? iBook has no major blemishes and is in very good condition.

iBook G3 12"
800 MHz
256 MB RAM
30 GB HD
Airport
Fresh install of tiger

I'm not sure, but this may be one of the series that had VRAM or video chip problems. Might want to check around....

Also, is this from a private party or a commercial seller? Is there a warranty?

The price is a little high based on the market here.

That's the exact same spec as mine. Tiger, Airport, RAM; everything! :D

Um... Canadian dollars... That's $284 U.S. as of today. I got mine for $250 U.S. I certainly wouldn't spend any more than that $279 CAD for it. Trashed around? How do you mean, eh?
