Hi everybody

Is it possible to use RAM from my MBP (667mhz RAM) in a G4 iBook (333mhz RAM)? Or, more specifically, could that hurt or ruin the iBook?

From what I understand from the RAM guide here on this site, it is quite common to substitute RAM with faster speeds, I just want to be sure before giving the modules to my friend...

Thanks!

it isn't just a question of speed, it's a different type of ram altogether. because of this, ram from your macbook is entirely incompatible with the ibook g4. please, do not even attempt to install that ram into the ibook.
