How can I do this? I have an iMac G3 @ 333Mhz with a broken CD Drive. I have a retail panther box with all of the disks. I have a MBP if that helps. Do I need to buy a new drive?

Hmm.... Not really sure, but I guess you could try putting the G3 in Target Firewire mode [connect to MBP with firewire cable, restart the G3, and hold 'T' (I think :p) during boot], then insert the disk into the MBP, and when it tells you to select a disk/volume to install it on, just select the G3. Not 100% sure if that's gonna work, but it's probably worth a try. Hope that helps!
(p.s.: how'd you manage to break the disk drive? :p)

This model does not have firewire. Anyway My dad's family has a train car for all of our storage and when I did a project on apple I got it out of storage. Then first 3 times it booted it sounded like a vacuum cleaner and the cd drive was going crazy. The cd drive still clicks.
