my friend just bought a new vista laptop she took her ibook to the local mac store and they offered $200 for it and she said if i could transfer her itunes, iphoto, mail etc. to itunes, outlook and other alternatives(not sure what iphoto alternative is in vista )
she would give me her ibook for $150
its a 12" 1.2ghz g4

good deal?
and also what is the easiest way to transfer and sync the info with a pc?

thanks

it seems alrite to me, but i quite like the look of those old ibooks so i might be a little swayed.

as for file transfers i imagine all the iphoto original photos will be around on her HD somewhere, so it would be just a case of finding them and copying them over a network or via an external hd. same for itunes i guess.

as for mail, i imagine she is using some sort of webmail with it? if so, she can just set that up with outlook express and download all the mail from their server

sorry i cant offer any easier way to do it, maybe someone else can
