I have created a folder in my pictures folder called "wallpapers".

When i download a picture off the internet and click save it doesnt let me choose that folder to save it to , only my username folder.

How do i do it?

you can choose where files download in Safari's preferences.

if you want to download a file to a particular folder right click on it and choose "Save Lined File As…".

In the "Save As" dialog box, there is a little triangle pointing (next to the location) down to save the file in the last place you used. Click the triangle so that it points up. That will allow you to navigate to wherever you want to save the file.

Thanks Everyone!

From a new MAC user, I was trying to figure out how to save to a folder for a long time. :)

Thank you SO much. I bought my Mac back in November... and just now figured it out.

It's amazing how you can go from advanced super user to total noob with one purchase.
