Note that the iPhone was docked and nowhere near outside where there would be a better signal.

I'll update if I remember this Friday.

I'm happy with edge speeds for the most part, now if you could tether 3g I would be waiting in line right now for it lol

iPod Touch on WiFi: 0.32Mbps.

The sad thing? I'm sitting less than two meters from my wireless router's antenna, and have a 100Mbps fiber connection.

wow, has nobody corrected their typo ("to" not "too"!)?? they even make it twice on their website.

You are correct mightymike, "nobody" HAS corrected the mistake.;)

I have tried in a few places around town and get between 176-205 kbps. I thought Edge was supposed to max out around 150 kbps?

you all were too quick on picking up "too" that you missed "there." should be "their" unless its not someone's iphone. its just sitting there. ;)

what a shame

Sorry but what about "from there iPhone" in the ad at the top of this page, is it correct? Shouldn't it be "from their iPhones"?

I'm Italian so I might be mistaking.

Hmm... something a little wonky methinks...

Tested from my BlackBerry Pearl, on T-Mobile's EDGE network with the Opera Browser...
4.84Mbps (4838kbps/591kb/s)
Transferred 6144KB in 10.4 seconds...

Huh! Methinks maybe my EDGE connection is better than the DSL at my work? Hahaha...

EDIT:: Won't work in the BlackBerry browser... surprise surprise! Thats why I want to switch...

Hmm, .64Mbps (twice) on my WiFi at the office, .08Mbps (77kbps, 9kb/s) and .11Mbps (111kbps, 14kb/s) on the cell network about 38 floors up in an internal office with 5 bars.

I do have to giggle at the line telling me that "you are on edge". I don't feel edgy, honestly! :)

I'm getting 2.8Mbps on an iPhone with WiFi. I can't imagine the iPod Touch would be slower at WiFi than the iPhone.

Hmmm, seems a little unreliable, especially with the smaller files. Currently reporting: 0.21Mbps (208kbps/25Kb/s) for the 1Mb file over edge.

Isn't that faster than EDGE can perform. I though the max down was 180 something. Am i incorrect that anyone knows.
