I have downloaded some old episodes of a podcast from the internet and used the "Re-Add Selected Tracks as Podcast" from Dougs Applescripts to successfully import them into my Podcast section of my iTunes Library.

Now I want to modify some details - I want to add a 'Release Date' and 'Description' to the podcasts. Does anybody know of any apps or AppleScripts that I can download to achieve this?

Thanks.

podcast descriptions

I found a way to do it. It is a 'itunespodcastdesc' property that contains the text that a podcast show as lyrics. So, all that you need to do is modify it (with a program like mp3tag) and put in it wherever you neet. Also you need "recompilate" the podcast inside the itunes (in 'get info' option put something in 'lyrics' and press 'ok')
