My experience applying with Apple sucked. Steve Jobs walked in during the interview and put his bare feet on the table. Then he asked me if I was a virgin. It went downhill from there.
Now where have I seen this before?

The movie PoSV perhaps? :)

To everyone else, good luck with your interviews and job search with Apple.

Had my second interview today, very casual and laid back. Only with one guy, a Specialist (I think he was Lead Specialist or something along those lines).

Asked a few general questions, what Apple products I own, why I want to work for Apple etc.

Results on Monday/Tuesday, then I guess it's down to signing a contract... or some other interview they failed to mention!

Wish me luck!

I had the second group interview in Bristol, was good fun.

Just waiting to hear back now, not sure if they're going to let us know either way though?

Apple do supposedly let you know either way - I had my final interview for the Apple Store (opening soon in Belfast), in early July - but haven't heard a thing despite the group being told at the interview we'd definitely be notified even if unsuccessful...

Has anyone else here that attended that interview or one near start of July for Belfast heard anything yet? Friends keep asking me "so have you heard back from Apple?!" - and as you can all imagine one does get rather excited about working for Apple! But for me now nearly a month after the interview (at which the soon-to-be Belfast Store manager said "expect an email in 2-3 weeks either way, but this will just be to let you know if you have been successful or unsuccessful - we cannot provide detailed feedback unfortunately") - I'm just at the point now where if it's a "no" I want the confirmation that was promised - for closure lol

I'm still waiting and I know another interviewee is also.

As far as I am aware he was told they are still going through the process, I emailed on Friday as I know quite a few jobs have been offered but haven't had a reply as of yet.

I'm waiting for a call regarding my second interview at Bluewater. They said they'd call sometime this week, probably Monday or Tuesday, but nothing yet.

I just hope I get a call before I go away on holiday!

No news is good news, I guess!

Indeed no news must be good news! But if, like me, Apple is one of a few positions one has applied for, and the other employers are coming in with offers - it's hard to accept them knowing Apple is still a possibility- Say I take the other job, then a week later if Apple were say I'm successful, I know I'd be straight there - much to the 'delight' I'm sure of my new, week long employers!?!

Any of the Apple Store Belfast applicants reading this, keep us posted if you hear anything!

Ah right, I wondered which one you were!

Yeah I guess it wasn't too bad, I was hoping for a one-on-one interview though. Getting quite anxious waiting to hear now! Have you heard anything?

Woah, that's a bit tight... how comes?

ok ill put it this way :) , you work for one of the biggest technology companies in the world with a huge reputation for secrecy on all their product lines that are in development. Word on one of them gets leaked via Mac Rumors, photos are posted, they know youre an employee who visits the site REGULARLY, what do you think will happen next?

At your interview im sure you were also told that they expect you to not post confidential information online. You mention one small blip of information and suddenly youre a liable source for quotation in the media.

Thats when they would FECK ye.

there are other ways to get INTERNET FAME!!!!

I have one this weekend in Chicago.

Hopefully we aren't doing that presentation thing, unless it's fun.

What should we wear to this thing? I kind of want to just wear jeans and a button down shirt. I don't want to be the oddball though of the group.
