What does the process of selling 1st Gen. iPhone looks like? Do I have to remove my sim? Should I deactivate the phone with ATT before selling? Anything else a seller should know? Thanks

I just sold two v1 iPhones on CL and eBay. I did a restore to original settings, took out my SIM cards and told AT&T that I had two new 3G iPhones to replace the v1 iPhones. Both iPhones were ready for sale and they had only the software that came with the iPhone and my music, videos, contacts, etc. were no longer on the iPhones.

Restore the phone and then perform a hard reset in Preferences.

Then remove your SIM, clean up the phone and then it should be ready to sell.

Can I restore and reset my old iPhone after purchasing and activating a new 3G one?
