I am trying to call

024 7622 4422 in Coventry

I realize the USA code is 011, and the UK code is 44. But I CANNOT figure out how to do it.

I have enabled International calling on my phone. It's just a matter of knowing how to actual dial and connect. I can't do it.

Please help.

The plus on the left side is to add the number to your contacts. Hold zero to dial +.

that'll do it (or a + instead of 011)

but if you're new to AT&T (if that's your carrier) you might need to call them and check that intl dialing is enabled for your account...

This worked

You dropped the 0 off the beginning of the number, which I guess was an unnecessary "prefix", sort of like the 1 here in the states. I finally got through.

and got an answering machine =/

I don't know if anyone is interested...but my gf lives in france ( i am going to move soon ) and i call her all the time.... The trick is get those world calling cards they sell at gas stations. Depending on which one i get ( or they have ) i can get almost 8 hours on a 5 dollar card. They should all have local access #'s so you won't have to pay those nasty internationall rates... Just make sure you call to a land line phone though... the cell rates are stupid with the cards.
