iPod iPod 5th Gen Won't Turn Off!!

I resetted my iPod, the Hold switch is off, and I don't know if there's anything else I can do!

Has anyone come across this issue?

Whenever this happened to me I would open a different menu in case it was the buttons freezing up or would wait until the backlight turned off after 10 or so seconds, then whenever I tried again it'd work.

Oh wow, that actually worked. I played a song and then turned it off successfully.
