You're posting at a time where the majority of MacRumors Users are either at work (in the UK), or asleep (in the USA), and you only gave people 4 hours, seriously, be more patient...
Do people really put boxes on display? Granted, I've kept all of my boxes just in case I sell some of my older Apple stuff, but I would never put them on display. It looks messy, imo. It's like walking into a living room and seeing an HDTV box sitting beside the actual television--unnecessary.

Apple has great packaging but I wouldn't substitute a nice mantle piece for an empty box.

I keep all my boxes for when I go to sell the products. Of course, I'm not at home right now, so I can't post them.
All my boxes are in storage. Most of the accessories I buy, I just throw away the box but I keep the boxes for my computers for travel and resell. Only box I have that I don't have the product anymore is the box to my 1st Gen iPod. It doesn't even say the iPod capacity because they only made one size, 5gig.

It's not all in the same place, TC is upstairs, Apple Tv is downstairs and MBA well is everywhere.
