Interestingly since the 1st of Jan 2009 (Midnight) the "Clocks" application in my iPod Classic is showing all the additional timezones out by 1hr. The iPod time is correct but the timezones for Melbourne (Australia) and Wellington (New Zealand) are out by 1 hour..

It's like the iPod doesn't know that it's daylight saving time..

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Happy New Year to all!

yeah, once you connect your ipod it will adjust to the time on your mac/pc

Hi All,

Thanks for the reply, I'm finally home and able to sync my iPod back iTunes and no improvement, the iPod clocks (timezones) are still out by 1hr.

The iPod time is correct, just the time in the clocks application are wrong, it's looking like a software bug.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Cheers,

Hmm. Have you checked if Daylight Savings is 'on' on your iPod??

Ok, not sure where the daylight setting is in the iPod - any hints?

The other thing worth noting is that the clock time is correct, under Settings | Date & Time option.

But under Extras | Clocks my Melbourne time is displaying 1hr behind the clock setting in the Date & Time option.
