My Mac has been running slow and I opened up Activity Monitor, but I don't know what applications I can quit. I took a screenshot, can you tell me what I don't need? Thanks.

Activity Monitor: What can I quit?

You can kill Activity Monitor. That's if from the screenshot.
How much RAM do you have? How about taking a look at all the processes and sorting by CPU usage? Are your fans spinning up all the time?

Those all look like system processes. A few questions:
How much RAM?
What model computer?
What processor speed?
What size hard drive and how much is free?

Based on your specs, I would recommend upgrading your RAM (I think that model supports up to 1.25GB) and clearing out some hard drive space if you can. Killing processes in the Activity Monitor probably won't do much.
You could try quitting Activity Monitor, as well as that pesky Finder. Mine won't go away!
Ya there's this annoying bug that doesn't let me quit it. So you have it too?
