Lost all my applications, how to redownload purchased apps?

As long as you're using the same iTunes account you'll get the message that you've already purchased it and you can download it again for free.

Wish the iTunes music store worked the same....

Great tip about re-downloding apps that were deleated. I bought a few apps that I didn't like but now I wish I has them but didn't want too pay twice. Thanks for the tip.

Okay maybe not but...

When I upgraded my iTunes to version 10 it somehow made my iPhone go back to the middle of June and everything I bought since then was LOST.

I got TWO big iTunes gift cards on 6/29 and went crazy buying all the apps I wanted for the thing and they were GONE.

I had NO idea all you had to do was just re-download and it wouldn't charge you for the trouble.

Yes, view your receipts in iTunes (under 'My Account' or something, easy to find).

Sign in to iTunes...

Then check the purchashed apps button, all will be there and can be synced.

Enjoy

You can do this on your phone. It is not obvious where.
Go to App Store.
Go to updates at the bottom
Now click on purchased
You should now see a list of all purchased apps
You can also filter just the ones "not on this phone"
