Always a day away
This guy should get ticketed for not having a leading and trailing flag car. There's no way this can be considered safe on the highway.

Sorry for the blurry pics, my wife took these while she was driving. Too bad she couldn't get the license plate clearly, this guy needs to be reported.

I think he just left the sign on from when he did have an oversize load on his normal size trailer.

And don't use your phone whilst driving, end of.

I thought they only needed escorts if their load were intruding into other lanes. I see trucks like that all the time on the highways.

Isn't his bed empty anyway?

Nothing about this thread was funny to me until I pretended to look at the second picture as if I considered the yellow thing in the middle of the trailer to be the entire "load."

Even if the trailer is empty it exceeds the width of 102 inches (I think)therefor requiring signage. There are no vision impairments, no height concerns so no escorts required.
In the United States an oversize load is a vehicle and/or load that are higher than 13' 6", wider than 8' 6" longer than 80'

I don't know which is funnier, the picture or the countless people who don't get it. I have seen this picture before (or similar if your wife did indeed take the picture). If I were driving an empty flat bed like that I would do the same.

The load didn't look that big. Perhaps the trucker was trying to send a message to your wife. :D

I could be wrong but I suspect the OP was making a joke at the 'Oversize Load' sign whilst the load itself was tiny.

I think some of you need to see this picture again. :D

I think the thread is meant to be an attempt at humour.
