Mirrors, auto glass, picture frame glass, Pyrex, and other types of glass are said to melt at different temperatures and/or contain other elements so most websites ask not to recycle it in a bottle receptacle.
How do you dispose of it then, as my county asks its residents to dispose of such glass that isn't bottles or jars?
Some bigger cities have actual receptacles for non-standard and plasticized glass but smaller counties/cities say to dispose but no site tells how.
