I have only just seen your post (actually through google...)
When you boot into windows, it will use the more power GPU, ie the 9600MGT. There is no way which you can choose which card to use, unless you mess around with something specific which i dont know. dont really see the point either since you arent going to be playing games, so you can just use vmware or parallels, even virtual box which is free
