I am just installing 4gb ram and a 500gb HDD, so will post photos in few minutes. One is for the wife, so she can open her one later on today. Here are some pics of mine side by side with my yesterday 15" MBP.

My MBP is literally being delivered by the UPS guy as I speak. I'm at work so will go down and pick it up in a minute. :)

Where did you get your RAM from and how much?

Has anyone experienced the 13" Macbook with a SSD? Is is worth the extra?

The last few, build quality seems a lot better with the keyboard feeling the same as in my 15" and 17. Screen u are more vivid then even on my 15". Keys are perfect, screen is beautiful not sure of model.. Screws are at an angle on the underside and you do not need to disconnect battery to install ram or HDD.

Great stuff. Is there a big weight difference b/w the 15 and the 13? -- which you like better so far?

Awesome. I think this new lineup from Apple is great and these 13"ers definitely deserve Pro branding.

Also where are the speaker grills on the 13"?

There isn't one (of course it still has stereo speakers). Only the 15" and 17" have proper speakers.

No weight difference really, on paper yes but you adapt every quickly. I carry all 3 around, I usually take two machines with me. I got the ram from apple through a friend so cost me £60 for 4gb of samsung apple ram. I am going to order 8gb next month, once my toy fun recovers this month. I have always loved the 12" powerbook and the backlit keyboard was my only bug bearer with it. So this is my perfect machine with my 17" 2nd.

I only browse the web, use itunes and write emails and word documents that is about it.

Yes many ppl have been waiting for a worthy successor to the 12" PB. I still can't see it on the pics, but Where are the speaker grills? or does the 13" not have them at all :eek:
